Since moving to the U.K. I have quickly learnt about the chav. Unfortunately I now live near very close to a lot of their 'species'. Apart from the annoying antics of these 'people' and their anti-social behaviour, I think there is a serious side to this rapidly increasing type of underclass.

I remember watching an excellent documentary series on the NHS on Channel 4 and in one episode the staff were talking about how Saturday nights in A and E have now turned into battle zones with corridors and waiting rooms full of drunks and foul mouthed yobs yelling abuse and worse at the people trying to help them. It showed one person who was seriously injured in a car accident after driving into a wall after drinking. It followed him a few weeks later celebrating his recovery with friends in a pub getting drunk and joking about the accident.

It is then left to the rest of us to mop up the mess they continually leave all over the place.
